Highfield Level 1 Certificate in an Introduction to Warehousing (RQF)


The objective of this qualification is to prepare learners for work, prior to obtaining a job within the warehousing industry. It also provides learners with an opportunity to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level or where more specific knowledge, skills and understanding is required. This is a knowledge only qualification which can be used to prepare learners to enter employment within a warehousing and storage environment.

 

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?

The total qualification time for this qualification is 128 hours, with 104 of these hours recommended as guided learning hours.

 

TQT is an estimate of the total number of hours it would take an average learner to achieve and demonstrate the necessary level of attainment to be awarded with a qualification, both under direct supervision (forming guided learning hours) and without supervision (all other time). TQT and GLH values are advisory and assigned to a qualification as guidance.

 

How is the qualification assessed?

This qualification is assessed by portfolio of evidence.

Highfield Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage (RQF)


This qualification is aimed at individuals who are working as warehouse operatives. It is a combined knowledge and competence qualification which is aimed at individuals who would like to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to operate within the warehousing environment. This qualification forms the combined knowledge and competence component of the SASE Intermediate Apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage (England). The qualification includes the following mandatory content, with learners select optional content from a variety of optional units:

 

  • Health, Safety and Security at Work
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations

 

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?

The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 260-hours and of this 102-hours is recommended as guided learning (GL).

 

How is the qualification assessed?

This qualification is assessed through completion of a portfolio of evidence. Learners must demonstrate their understanding of how to deal with situations in a safe and professional manner.
